ferrarijoe Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Hope someone makes a kit of this. Think the muscle car influence is perfect. http://www.carbuzz.com/m/Article.aspx?Id=25493
matthijsgrit Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 (edited) CudaSilvia? Kinda like the looks of this... The front, that is. Don't like the total package: the look of the rear is too different from the front IMHO. Edited February 17, 2015 by matthijsgrit
Notoriousek Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Looks like the rear bumper is missing...
Austin T Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 (edited) Considering how the design takes heavily from racing influences it's very obvious that the lack of a rear bumper is for weight reduction. What started out as form over fashion has now become stylish, everything evolves. Edited February 17, 2015 by Austin T
om617 Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I bet if you stuff this in a windtunnel it would be as drag efficiant as a barn, Old front and modern rear seems weird to me, but taste is subjective. This style is kinda cool on 60s and 70s japanese cars,on this i dont see the point other then trying a little to hard to be a special snowflake. Lol now i`m being very negative.
Jon Cole Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 It looks just like a 70's Barracuda... ...a half mile away ...at night ...from a speeding train.
jbwelda Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 that's what I ought to do with my 95 240sx, but I would definitely finish off the rear end. then again, 70s barracuda? nah. like it better as a 240sx. jb
Intmd8r Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I don't mind this concept at all. The 'Cuda and 240 are on my top 10 list that I'll probably never own. The rocket bunny street fighter style is not for everyone, but they could have worked a little more on the rear bumper (aka give it one!). IMO-if you're going to go through the trouble to convert a JDM street machine into a muscle car, it probably should have the Hellcat engine to go with it.
Relic_Models Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I like the over-all idea but it looks unfinished; plus the exposed fasteners looks cheesey.
Quick GMC Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I like the over-all idea but it looks unfinished; plus the exposed fasteners looks cheesey.
Intmd8r Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 I like the over-all idea but it looks unfinished; plus the exposed fasteners looks cheesey. To each their own. Don't mind the look if it suits the build. This and the lack of rear bumper seems to be evolving trade marks of Rocket Bunny builds.
Ace-Garageguy Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 (edited) ...plus the exposed fasteners looks cheesey. You kinda tend to see exposed fasteners on cars that actually ARE fast, and that don't care too much about desperately trying to LOOK fast... Edited February 22, 2015 by Ace-Garageguy
gtx6970 Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Gotta ask......what the %$×@ is a rocket bunny?
Austin T Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Gotta ask......what the %$×@ is a rocket bunny? Probably the same thing as a Mooneye or a Crager. Easily identifiable as a brand name but when trying to imagine what one would physically look like it raises some questions.
