Well ya cant go wrong with the Pepper Shaker versions  B)

I think you covered most the stock / street issues Greg, so not much else I can ad, except the latest blue car AMT issue, only includes the stock parts. ie no 409 & custom goodies ect.

Jed theres also the drag issues, Monograms 'Plum Crazy' funny car, Revells Tom McEwan funny car & Soff Seal pro mod. And the cartoon issues, Zingers / Deals Wheels ect

If it was me, think it would have to be a Revell sedan or an AMT new tool Street Machine. But thats just me . . . . . .

Sorry Gents not been on for a while due to long work hours.

Thanks for all the replys. Those Scenes Unlimited hitches are real nice, but I think I'll go with some of your ideas & try & make one.

Though I also have a stepside kit, so will have to have a look in there too.

Thanks for your replys Gents.

I've now amended my want to the GMC emblem only.

I'm not looking to do a 100% accurate replica of my truck, so dont want a full on scratch build project (& my scratch skill are real bad lol). If I can modify the Chevy grill ie black out the centre & ad the GMC badge, then that will be good enough.

I wasnt sure the size of the black part of the Somona, so wondered if it would work for the 'infill' on my Chevy grill ? As far as I'm aware (but over to you guys) the Somona kit was the only one that had the 'GMC' as a separate part.

From what I understand (& this is my 1st 1;1 pickup) the 99-01 Chevy / GMC trucks had very similar front ends. The revised 02 on models had more of a difference between the brands.

I always try to build a 1;25 of my 1;1's, the Revell 99 stock Silverado kit is the closest thing to start with.
