Carl the 2010 Shelby engine fit real well in the 67 Shelby with minimal modifications needed.

Some progress this evening on the back half of the undercarriage which was finishing up scratch building the wheel wells & then applying some filler. Next will be redoing the back half of the frame then the rear suspension set up.post-11522-0-31496000-1402721595_thumb.jpost-11522-0-15564800-1402721629_thumb.j

Some progress today on t

he Shelby which was removing both front grills & fitting the replacement grill, attaching the front clip to the body & smoothing the front clip to the body & getting the 4 link ready for the rear suspension & the valve covers in primer which I think I will decal wrap in carbon fiber or maybe paint them the same color as the body which I'm not sure of the color yet but have a good idea what it maybe and also have the seats in primer also.attachicon.gif

What are the new grills to be made of?

Thank you Art !

Pat the grill is a piece of screen I picked up from my local hobby shop awhile back.

Some progress tonight , I got the panel made to cover the rear seat but is still pretty rough so it needs a little filler & also started the mock up of the rear half of the frame that the four link will mount to.

Will try & get some progress pictures up this weekend and thank you all for the comments !

A little progress this evening on the Shelby which I got the rear panel basically finished that will take the place of the rear seat and while looking at the interior I decided to take the center console from the 2010 donor Shelby & fit it to the 67 & also decided it needed the GPS also and will have to do some modifying to the center dash to accommodate it.

Pictures coming soon !

Been working on modifying the 2010 Shelby center console with navigation screen to fit the 67 Shelby & the panel that I have scratch built to replace the back seat. After shooting a coat of primer on the modified center console there still is some work to be done to get it to look right. post-11522-0-30953300-1403398969_thumb.jpost-11522-0-87530800-1403399010_thumb.jpost-11522-0-30551100-1403399053_thumb.j

Some progress today which is that I got the two interior side panels painted but still need detailing and the panel I scratched built to cover the rear seat & center console painted and the valve covers wrapped in carbon fiber. I also found some seats today in my extra parts box that will be installed in the Shelby but they are soaking in some brake fluid to remove the paint then be repainted. I also started some work on the rear frame rails also today to accommodate the four link.

It's been slow on this build but I have made some progress on the interior. The main color is finally laid down which is a sand color so next will be to detail the dash and the door panels. I will be also laying down some darker flocking for the carpeting & attempting to scratch build some front floor mats.

Ok everyone I have been busy the last few weeks & also took a weeks vacation with the wife and we went to Hawaii which was awesome ! So I have finally got some bench time in on the Shelby so here is the update on the build. Finished the back half of the frame but still needs to be premiered , finished the rear axle which is from the 2010 Shelby & was shortened plus I modified the rear suspension links from the 2010 Shelby & added some rear coils from my parts box & scratch built the rear mounts for the coil springs. I also had to modify the front shock perches so the Coyote motor would sit properly in the engine bay, also added a hood scoop to accommodate the super charger and still have some body work to do on the hood scoop.

Thanks for looking !

After getting the engine mocked up in the engine bay I will now attempt to scratch build a cool air intake system for the super charger which will be a tight fit so that will be my next challenge on this build.
