Sparkhead42
I got a model today and thought I'd share the build. It's a White Road Boss, here's all the parts laid out.
72 Charger
Nice kit . Watch out for the hood not fitting good against the cab

tbill
Cool! With some work, this builds a good looking truck. The hoods on these sure are funky though.

gatorincebu
Will be watching this build closely. As I have a couple of these to rebuild and also a few fresh kits as well. Be Well Gator
Sparkhead42
What are your plans for the Road Boss Not quite sure yet, I wanna have the sleeper, and I have some matte paint leftover from another build
Sparkhead42
Anyone have a good picture of the fuel filter location on this cummins?
Sparkhead42
Finished painting and building the engine today. The main frame is completed as well.

Sparkhead42
Minor progress update, tires are done and the frame is primered, I think I'm going to paint the cab and frame yellow, with the hood and sleeper in flat black. Also are there any good pictures of what the cyclopac filters looked like on one of these, I'm thinking about fabricating one.
Goodwrench3
Nice lookin' rig ! The brochure paint scheme is really nice.
Sparkhead42
Another update today. Frame is painted, found a good orange to use instead of yellow, got the small tank put together. I'm also including a picture of the finished tires. The suspension parts are going to be red, just to break up the monotony an all orange frame could bring. Mopar - D
Looking good in orange.
Sparkhead42
Thanks Dan. However, I've probably gotta pull that front engine mount, the frame is bent and I can't fit the engine when the member is in, hopefully the engine and suspension will straighten it out. Sparkhead42
Finally got back at it today. Frame is almost complete and engine fit looks ok, hopefully have it installed later this week. Battery box is also done, just needs minor detail work. Sparkhead42
Here is a photo of my inspiration for the paint. The next town over has a W&LE switchyard and the main line cuts right through my town.
Petetrucker07
Looks great. The striped box looks killer.
DRIPTROIT 71
I like this build! The Road Boss is one of my favorite trucks, but I love all the workhorses. I've fabricated a few of those round air breathers myself using the tube from an ink pen. Those breathers vary some which gives you room to make the one that suits you best. Sparkhead42
Got some more work done, progress is slow as I got a job last week which has taken up some free time. I have the frame complete and all the tanks installed. The battery box has been detailed and the engine is finally in, courtesy of some custom mounts.
