I did have to strip the heavy Revell chrome and have it all redone by Chrometech USA. My father in law was most pleased with the gift. The hinges are VERY fragile. I'd consider replacing the pins with drilled holes and a small diameter (straight pin) wire instead. It is a fiddly kit, but very cool once completed.
