cobraman
Going to try my hand a a little simple diorama. I have the garage kit and bought a Monogram 1/43 Cobra to replace the Vette that comes with the garage kit. Going to try and make it look like someone is building a kit Cobra at home. cobraman
OK,this ain't gonna work. Probably due to age the stick on walls and floor does not stick. Not wanting to glue them down I am going to replace the walls with wood and the floor with something undecided at the moment.
cobraman
I am working on making new walls and a floor to replace the stick one ones that don't. I have assembled some of the bits for the dio and painted and detailed them.

cobraman
Really did not like the stick on walls and floor so I replaced them. I used painted cardboard for the floor and balsa wood for the walls. I think it looks better but may be out of scale.
vamach1
I built one and added some extras and a Mach1. I like the Cobra idea - the Monogram kit is awesome.
slusher
Looks great Ray. As far as being out of scale I don't think so. Those older garages looked kind of like that. put some items in it and lets check it out...

cobraman
Making some progress on this thing. This is a mock up only but pretty much the way it will be. Need to start working on the car now. I converted a Micro Machines Cobra into a kids riding toy by adding a seat and a steering wheel and foot pegs. Looks kinda crowded to me. Thoughts ?? cobraman
Got this little diorama all finished up. I learned one thing, I don't think I will any time soon or ever build another 1/43 kit. This is a very nice little Cobra with some nice pe parts but tough on these old eyes. This dio is meant to depict a guy working on a kit Cobra in his home garage. As mentioned before the wood I used to make the walls is out of scale but I think still better than the stick on stuff. Also I feel I maybe made it a little to crowded but wanted to squeeze some detail in to it. Comments good or bad are always welcome. Thanks for looking. bobthehobbyguy
Do not think there is too much in the garage probably typical of what most garages are space wise. You have just the right amount any more would be cluttered. bobthehobbyguy
vamach1
At least it does not have a Chevy small block.
