That was the first thing I checked and there is plenty of clear. I'll try to get a pic of it up later.

Back on the bench, one of the hold ups was how to mount the wheels. But I was able to figure that out last night. After a few more test fits it should be ready for paint.

Thanks for the comments everyone. The Yellow is Model train paint and the green is Tamiya Military interior green, both dry flat so I have to clear coat for shine.
The suspension is from the link below, I did use different axles though.

How about magnesium wheels, realistic rubber and some clear? Lots more to do with shading, weathering and polishing but at least I'm making progress.
