Mike 1017 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 My friend Tulio challenged me to build to build some OOB cars. So I took his challenge. So here they are. This year I did some experimenting with backgrounds. What do you guys think about using backgrounds VS just the car? My only non out of box
Belugawrx Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Nice Trans Am came out great! I started playing around with backgrounds in my photos,.. sometimes they are too distracting,.... I like the winter scene,.. but your car is on the ice!! I'm trying a white Flat (no shine) base and backdrop now Camera set on Macro, lots of light, tripod (a must), and shooting very close to the model. Great builds here and good luck Cheers
bbowser Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Nice work on all. Backgrounds can accent or distract, it's a fine line.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I loved them all, even tough there are no Fords
Bernard Kron Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Superbly executed all. Finding backgrounds that are complementary and don't conflict with the subject is a tough nut to crack. That's why mostly plain backgrounds tend to be the way to go. But it's another creative challenge so what-the-heck... Anyway, thanks for sharing some fine work and Happy New Year!
Mopar - D Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Nice builds and I like your different types of back ground some take away from the car but make a nice overall picture just depends on what your going for in your picture.
