It has been a long while since I’ve posted anything. Haven’t really had the time, but figure I would post some of my in-progress builds to their current statuses. This one started as a Comp Resins that I ended up modifying quite a bit. The chassis is all brass rod with some Futurattraction hardware. Unfortunately, I don’t have any in-progress pics of the chassis. Not sure when I’ll get back to it, but the goal is for a pro charger. Today, I decided to check out what’s been going on in the forum and saw some really impressive work from Codi (Tim -always a treat to see his work), AmericanMuscleFan (Francis -oh boy!) and going back to see RickArt’s completed Vette (another oh boy build!). My stuff won’t have the level of incredible detail, fabrication and attention to detail as those phenomenal builders (and Dave Sherman, Clay Kemp, etc), so I’ll just sit back and enjoy their shows, 😂! I have just taken about three days to get through much of the thread and what a treat! I agree with so many of the other’s comments that this is one of the finest examples of modeling I’ve ever seen. Not that my paltry support is of much meaning, but you should be very proud of what you’ve built and consider yourself among the most elite in the hobby. I understand humbleness, however, you ARE among those folks! Great job and thanks for documenting so that we could marvel in your skills! -
Glad to see you back at it, Dave! I also have been away from the workshop for a long while (life -divorce, etc). You know how I feel about your work -simply outstanding! This is such a treat to see your work again. Dirk

I've been off the forums for quite some time now, but wanted to take a quick peak in and see the progress on Tim's Henry J. I just want to echo everyone else's sentiments that this is just such and incredible build Tim! Outstanding job! -
The registration form.

I'm not sure if I clarified, but the GoodGuys folks confirmed that entry for model participants is free for both days. Parking is NOT!
-
I understand totally, Darryl. I do hope something changes and you can make it. It'll be good to catch up. Just a clarification on the cost and access to the show. I spoke with Bill Goodwill this AM and he confirmed that participants get in for free both days. However, there will NOT be any parking passes as parking is being handled by the Osceola folks and out of their control. I will provide further information on the logistics of obtaining the tickets once I get directions on it.

For those interested in coming, the show is for 2 days (Sat & Sun, the 25th & 26th). Modelers are supposed to get in for free (including parking) but I'm still trying to figure out the logistics. The best thing for anyone to do is to call me on Sat AM. I believe they will drop the models off and let anyone there know they are for the Model Show and there will either be tickets at will-call, or they will need to call me so that I come out to give them the entry ticket and parking pass. ONLY participants get tickets.

I know it is short notice, but there is a GoodGuys Model Car & Pedal Car contest the weekend of April 24-26 in Kissimmee, FL. Hope the FL crowd can make it!!! There was a slight typo on my contact info., it is: 407-399-1952.
