Hey Mark!.. Thanks for checking in. The truth is that the nice weather is here now, and when you live in Wyoming and love the outdoors you take advantage of every bit you can because it only lasts about 3 to 4 months. This is the time of year I go into hyperactive mode and ride my bike all over the mountains like a wild man. Not only that, but where I left off on the build (side windows) is going to present some unique challenges for me. I even considered just putting the windows in the way they are, but I’d really like it more if I can successfully accomplish the scratch built windows I have in mind. So for now, the Daytona sits inside a protective case in a state of limbo. There’s been a couple times I’ve had a hankering to start the next step, but before I know it the time has escaped me. I work full time too, so it doesn’t leave enough room for two obsessions simultaniuosly. For those of you who have watched this WIP with interest, I hope this isn’t too disappointing for you... it will be the first and only project I return to when the season starts changing again, and there is always the possibility that I get an itch that must be scratched before that, but I simply can’t make any promises about it. I kind of figured most modelers would understand that this is just the way it goes for a lot of us. For those of you who I’ve seen your posts/names regularly on this topic, I’ll send you a PM to give you the heads up that more progress has been posted so you don’t have to worry about missing something. To be honest, when I had pet snakes they seemed like more of something to just marvel at rather than actually gain joy or even a remote sense of companionship from. I’m sure many snake lovers would disagree. I can see where hamsters would be more enjoyable and entertaining. I mean, the most entertaining thing a snake does is catch and eat it’s prey, and it’s a bit weird to watch if not actually slightly sad. But, that’s just what they do.

Makes me wonder which is worse, snake poop or turtle poop. Snake poop is very bad smelling!

More than 20 years ago I had a few different pet snakes I got at pet stores. I had each one at different times. One was a Speckled King Snake... one time I let it out to crawl around on the floor for awhile. When I went to put him back he was so aggressive and intimidating that I was basically terrified of him. I think it took me a good 45 minutes before I got him contained again. He went back to the pet store.

Sounds like that one was a pretty nice snake!... Garter snakes seem pretty docile like that. Around here it’s the Bullsnakes that have a bad attitude, and it’s best to just leave them be because they eat a lot of pests and also rattlers.

Yes the green 1 is all there is, and then the “bell” notice it the top of page (as seen in screenshot) has a number 3, and when I touch/click it, it shows that “somebody”, assuming that was you, has responded. But when I click either response it just takes me to the topic as shown in the (above) screenshot. Just dumb.

I just now gave yours the “trophy”.... and here’s a screen shot of both after the reactions were made...

Agreed.... But my curious personality is tormented by the little number “1”.... what in the world does it mean?🤔🤨😕

I’m on iPad... when I press the button it gives me a choice of a trophy and about two silly faces, while at least one more face remains hidden behind the big grey dot. Reguardless of which one I select, nothing appears to have happened, so I touch the little “x” and it will tell me that my reaction has been removed even though I never saw my reaction appear anywhere. I just had a message pop up that said “someone has reacted to your post in (such and such topic)”... so I went and looked for the reaction in that topic and there is simply a number “1” in the lower right hand corner of the screen which tells my absolutely nothing about anything. It makes no sense.
