I did something not quite as bad when i traded in my '62 Biscayne on a '69 Javelin. The generator failed one night on the Chevy and the motor finally quit on a hill. My buddy decided to open his passenger door as I rolled back down the hill to a parking spot. The bad part is there was a parking meter there and it broke both hinges and the door fell on the sidewalk. We picked the door up and managed to get it latched and locked. I wish I could have seen the look on the person's face when they opened the door at the dealer after I traded it.
