  5. Hi guys, well I finally got the mock-up done on my next build. This will be built as the Brutus '71 Mustang F/C using the johan kit and Chuck Boerner's excellent looking decals. I will be resin casting the front and rear tires as the kits tires on the reissues are not up to the quality I would use. If anyone is interested in a set of the front or rear tires get in touch with me as I will be running many sets as I have more Johan F/C kits I want to build. Till next time, Charlie Pro Tech
  6. John, another great looking build. Always amazed at your work. Charlie Pro Tech
  7. Aaron, great job, I saw this car run many, many times back in the day at Maryland tracks. I have a few questions below as I want to build this also. This is 1/25 scale right? Are the decals still available for this? What kit did you use for the base? Oh last but not least, what no PT parts on it, we have to talk Charlie Pro Tech
  8. Great job Paul, guys you gotta check out Paul's YouTube channel, alot of great builds/tips. Hope to see more of your completed builds on the forum . Charlie Pro Tech
  9. Hi Guys, just wanted to let you all know I just released a new item "PTMC 39 Hex Fittings". I designed these to fit my smallest Braided Line (.018) but they can be used for any small line fitting application such as fuel injection lines, nitrous lines, brake lines etc. Link is below, click onto part number to see pic of part. http://protechmodelparts.com/carpartscatalog2.htm Till next time, Charlie Pro Tech
  10. Thanks guys! appreciate it. Dave, I have started mocking up the same kit (Johan Mustang F/C) for the "Brutus" car but I've been so busy with the business lately (just finished spooling 1600 packs of braided line ) that I haven't touched it for about a month now. I will post it when I get it all mocked up. Later, Charlie Pro Tech
  11. Looking great John! That's really using the noggin using my "Rod Ends" for the tie rod/adjusters. Now the question is do you have a wrench that size to set the toe? ...... Charlie Pro Tech

  14. Hi Guys, wonder if anyone can help here. I am wondering if anyone knows who makes decals (Good Year, M & H, etc) that will fit the slicks in the old Johan funny car kits. They need to be of the right radius (to fit tire) and right style for the time period (early '70's). I have casted the tires (as I don't like the 2 pc. tires in kit) but need to find the decals. Thanks for any help, Charlie Pro Tech

  21. Thanks guys, appreciate the comments . Bill, no, those decals are not in the kit. They are available from Chuck Boerner. I think he's a member here. Tom, I will bring it and see ya at the meeting. Charlie Pro Tech
  22. Thanks John and Ed. John, yes Tommy is still with us. He did a radio show (can't remember which one) a little while back talking about the old days. I always wanted to do this build but decals were never available till Chuck Boerner did them about 2 years ago. I have other decals from him for future builds, Brutus Mustang, and Frantic Ford Mustang, more funnies I seen when I was a kid and want to replicate. Take care buddy. Charlie Pro Tech
