  2. I agree, def. would love to see more this looks great so far!
  3. I was a big fan of it, but after it spider cracked three finishes in a row I quit using it and switched to Testors Wet-look. It may still work awesome over paint for some, but for whatever reason in my area it just began to fail me too often.
  4. It's funny you mentioned these issues, as I was fighting the SAME THING this last week + . I'm building the Revell Countach and the diagrams are so gosh-awful. It's bad enough the kit has a bunch of fiddly assemblies and sections, but the instructions provide less than 0 help. Thankfully a guy two yrs ago documented his build on a car forum and i used his pix as directions lol
  5. Yeah it's molded in red but apparently can scuff-up and re-paint pretty easily with our skills.
  6. Thanks for the re-assurance, sounds do-able for sure.
  7. Dang that's nice! I'm gonna do one of these a lil jazzed up as well. I'm a lil nervous about doing the headlights though, but looks like you nailed it! Good stuff
  8. Thanks for the info Jesse, I wasn't sure of the lineage on these kits; but I sure do love that body lol
  9. Any idea of how hard it'd be to put some type of stock-ish interior? any close donors?
  10. I'm glad this thread was resurrected, my favorite subject matter and all nicely-done!
  11. Nothin too special here, a Lightning kit that will donate an engine bay to the Expedition snap kit.

  17. I agree, that's great custom and resin work. Excellent!
  18. In a related, but not-so related note; I've never used the Tamiya but I do enjoy Wet-look A LOT right now... What is the duplicolor some of you speak of?
  19. Those are awesome-lookin' as well, and as I was reading the replies that car came to mind as well along with Charlie
