  3. I have the 1/24 LX Hatch and it looked really really nice right out of the box. I got it back in the spring/summer off of the eBay page I haven't started on it yet but I like how it looks, it's crisp
  4. Yeah I can see price being an issue for sure, but I might check em out and see what's cookin
  5. those are indeed hard to watch good grief.... But the S-10 had some comedic value at least lol.. The ones that look like moving wrecks are tough, hope no one got hurt.
  6. Very good lookin' and swift all around love the work and details.
  7. that era bird always looked good in white to me for some reason. I like that body style. Your cleanup is going super, cant wait to see it done.
  8. For such a long layoff, and such a challenging subject you did awesome! Great effort and really is good stuff.
  9. Can't wait to see the projet jesse, those Monogram GT kits aren't half bad. I enjoy them (obviously lol) Haven't started on my AMT's yet.
  10. I like the whole thing, very awesome ! good stuff
  11. when i get builders block, or burn out i usually get into one of my other hobbies for a while and then something will kinda spark me again.
  12. Nicely done, and the air box is very convincing lil adjustment. Good stuff!
  13. I finished the Cobra before my hiatus, but the body really isn't anything to be excited about and It may be taken apart for the good bits. It really wasn't worth the effort, I should have just built a hardtop from the AMT kit and been happy with that.. But I'm starting a new project that should actually WORK. (I'm doing mine in white with white wheels) I'm taking the Saleen Speedster kit and putting a roof on from the Monogram GT kit. I'm not a big convertible fan, so this makes sense. Here's what's cooking so far. I also removed the engine compartment sides from the interior tub and fixed them into the body to make it easier to have them be body color during paint process.
  14. I'm a lil late to the party on this but it's really great. I haven't picked up one of the LX kits yet but I think I should get on the list and get one of these
  15. That's beautifully done and great detail to bolster the box kit. Great effort, love it.
  16. Looks great, I built one of these back in the day in yellow, it's a good kit. Your additions will be even better, as I think TE37's are super versatile
  17. Starting to take shape nicely keep it up!
  18. I trim the seam with an xacto as best I can. After that I fold my sandpaper and sand the seam first to my liking, using the thinnest edge of the folded paper. From there I then 'broadsand' if you will, the rest of the contact area. If that makes sense.. Its more tedious, but but the seams are a real bear.
  19. As far as the reissue plague, When I went on a wild goose chase for the 93 cobra all over the globe I got one from a hobby shop in the state of Washington for about $24 and the ones on eBay were triple that price.. A month or so later Revell announced it would be re-released lol.
  20. This is very true also, yes. Also holds true with hockey gear as I found luckily a few months ago
  21. I hate when it's like $8 for a week and then in the last ten minutes it goes up to $50-$60 lol
  22. Quoted for truth, I like this idea
  23. That's some serious business there, nicely done and keep it up!
  24. Nice to see them back in the fold, and with Williams as well; it only seems right.
