  1. Great album! Thanks for sharing, your photog and editing is really special. Glad you could enjoy some American iron
  2. This thread is pure win, all-around. Only a few that could be categorized as 'tuners' so far, and mostly in my mild factory style.
  3. Welcome aboard, I'm in Michigan as well. Good luck on the projects!
  4. Thanks guys, as for the color it was just Perfect Match from the auto parts store. It comes straight out the can, and it's overtop of white primer. I build so few vehicles that need chrome in comparison to moderns that It didn't appeal to me to get into foiling.
  5. Yeah, I've been tossing the foil idea around I may try it out sometime
  6. Great info guys, thanks a bunch should make this go along nicely!
  7. Now that my summer Hiatus is over, I'm working on finishing this kit in question. The instructions call for an all-grey interior (which sounded odd) and I didn't want to do the all-black interior. I'm curious if anyone has knowledge or photos of what that era trucks interior should be. I'm most curious about the dash, and steering column. Google has turned up many modified / mini-truck custom jobs unfortunately.
  8. Thanks for the kind words, I don't know where the idea came from for the wheels but it certainly makes sense if someone did it on their real one lol.
  9. Thanks a bunch! Yeah I stripped the chrome and sprayed them with Rustoleum Aluminum from a can.
  10. If possible I like to do my bodies whole to keep the coats consistent. I review directions, and dry-fit best I can to see if its realistic before diving in of course.
  11. Thanks I appreciate it, Yeah it gave me no worries I'd recommend it for sure
  12. This one was completed in the late-winter but wasn't able to upload it, then took my summer hiatus. This one was the 'Heavy Chevy' re-release from a few years ago. Went together great, no issues, and looks mean as nails when done. I'm not a fan of body stripes, so those were omitted and I used the wheels from the '86 Monte Carlo SS for a lil variety and spice. Paint is Red Metallic from the Perfect Match line.
  13. I agree this is super clean, and looks classy and racy. Great stuff!
  14. I agree, looks great. Wish I could get hold of one of these.

Good customizing!! Are those wheels from the 99 Cobra? Very cool stuff, and nice use of the SuperStallion engine.
  16. That's so awesome Paul, everything just flows so nicely. Good stuff!!
  17. This is true for me, and on a side not there's nothing wrong with drinking and skirt chasing if you're a bachelor lol

    69 Cheelle

I agree, this is very clean and looks great!
  19. My cement melted the plastic a bit and with the recessed detail I didn't want to lose any more definition. It was the Streetburner SVO I do believe. Released a few years back.
  20. Yes you should be okay now.
  21. That's good for such a long layoff. That's a nice kit to work with, I wanna do a couple more lol. Good job, keep it up.
  22. I agree yeah, nice work
  23. That's too cool, all class and super clean. Nice stuff
  24. That's a good one to pick if you only have half a day. You did super with it very slick
  25. For 11 years old you did real good. Just keep it as-is it's a piece of your own history. I wish I had skill like that at 11. It took me til I was almost double that age lol
