Revell - 1977 "Bandit" Pontiac Firebird (Trans Am!)
Scuderia replied to Drake69's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Yeah licensing strikes again. I'm sure someone produces a sheet with them. (Or I'd at least hope so) Good review ! -
Welcome aboard, hope you have a good time!

Policecarmodels.com may have some options?
-
Looks good, real clean build too! Nicely done. Were those supplied decals, or special for a particular police force?
-
I use papilio decal paper and Testors but the same rings true. I used Rustoleum generic clear on the decal paper to seal it down. No worries.
-
Nice, I just wish the kit had an engine
-
Yeah i found one link and then I used my memory and remembered I saw them on SP lol

Those kits really lend themselves well to detail, and you did super. Great talent, and a cool lookin car. Awesome -
I suck at the internet. Scaleproduction.de makes them, probably higher quality.
-
I don't know how difficult this would be, or if it's available as a separate sheet.
-
WHOA! Yeah, I can imagine that decal sheet might be intense on that second one.. There was another one in an endurance race that was black with pirelli logos striped on it i think.. I'll try and find a pic. Maybe that'd be an option?

What I was thinkin too this one looks like it's ready for some action. I like it.

Yeah Paul this stuff is great for sure, nice work on those wires keeping it super clean and neat. And too I like that last part there Jon!! you have a pic of your box art?
-
This came out nice, I like these built as coppers without the lightbar atop. Good stuff.

'77 Chevrolet Van.
Scuderia replied to W-409's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
That's a really cool lookin' van, the wheels really give it a bit of attitude but it's still clean and classy. Nice job! -
I got in the mail last week Friday actually this resin-body LX conversion purchased on eBay. The body is based on the 93 Cobra kit from the looks of it. They re-modeled the rear bumper, and the front bumper is molded-in. Some filling and sanding will be needed and possible lower grill posts. It came with a Saleen wing (re-casted from the one in the convertible kit) A cowl drag race hood, and some drag racing wheels. I'll build it as a 93 and I've started looking at photos online.

I agree that looks great, real nice job!

Man that car is pretty and your detail and photography are smashing, well done!
-
That's a neat little car, and looks like a nice kit too. Tough luck on the tone of the white, it can be a pain at times to duplicate. Clean build, nice.

Welcome aboard! Nice to see new guys getting back into it. Tons of info around here, and not too many stones left unturned for sure.

Maybe giving tuners/racers and easier time of doing side-exhaust for their mechanical modifications. That's just a guess though, they could have done it for aesthetics lol
