  1. i think it looks better in black with the Volk's myself. real sharp though.
  2. Nice looking tree! lots of opportunity for detail painting. Nice of them as well to offer the engine and compartment pieces separate also.
  3. Rats, well maybe i can do up a diecast maybe but great info. Nice bike too! A buddy of mine had a GSXR he had painted like Bumblebee. I don't have a fav per say but if I did, it'd be a Desmosedici RR
  4. Dang Jon, that's some serious business!! Nice haul though
  5. Thanks for the info, and yeah I could tell by your name and av lol. But no bikes for me yet, maybe one day. Do you think a race bike kit could be used in this case or too far off?
  6. I was doing some google searching, and didn't see a built version or a boxed kit. Have any of you 2-wheel guys built a 2005 Honda 'Fireblade'?
  7. That's great work getting all that body stuff ironed out. And interesting side-notes about the pony wheels as well. Maybe last-second they feared that they would look out of scale on the new 1/25 body. I think if they did a proper roof it wouldn't have looked bad. (Case in point here)
  8. yeah powerslide decals are the business for sure! I love em too, and you did perfect getting that black to shine. Very very nicely done. I forget which kits of that bodystyle had the slab sides, but I do believe they're out there.
  9. No problem, looks like the other side is just as nice keep it up. And Oscar that Rx7 is pretty awesome. That body style always looks mean with some flares and race trim
  10. bum about the glass, but i hardly noticed with all the good stuff going on. that thing has bad intentions for sure lol. I like it good job!!
  11. Man that's pretty, and that shine is boss. Very nicely done!
  12. I second that, this should be a good comm. build. Shades of the general race car build, but nice. I also had a breakthrough with my Shelby race conversion so I should be getting some good stuff going on that soon.
  13. Very unique colur and a clean build as well. Nicely done!
  14. I agree, and your casting of a whole body is quite inspiring in itself. I'm watching this in great anticipation!
  15. Fred brings up a good point that got me out of the 'chasing' phase quick also. I was mostly an online buyer but once i went to my first model car show and swap meet I was floored at the value i could get in person. I don't know why that is, but it certainly rings true. For that reason I don't have 'grails' anymore. That and my personality I'm more into that chase than the capture, which can be bad in life. I finally found my 93 Cobra after many sleepless nights scouring the internet to find one under $30 over a year ago. (before reissue plans) It sat in the corner for months before I actually built it.
  16. Those are good questions, and may help yourself or or others from falling into a trap. From my experience I see prices set by rarity. Some kits may not even be THAT old, but the fact that there aren't many to be had can pump pricing up. It also helps (or doesn't help depending if you're buyer or seller) if that kit or subject is popular in general in culture and/or that building community.
  17. It's a nice kit to work with, you should enjoy it. That paint is lookin tasty so far, what colour is that?
  18. Nice one here, haven't seen this car in ages lol. Good stuff, nice and clean it really pops.
  19. I hate hate the fit and engineering of AMT's Firebirds/Trans Am's in this era. But you tamed the beast great and then some. Killer stuff!
  20. Not a bad idea, I know there were a couple re-issued vans lately as well.. Would 'Sedan Delivery' work too?
  21. Thanks and Possibly, Probably, but with the issues I had in selecting an engine and dressing it (this was motor plan D) I just kinda got it done.
  22. lol thanks, I guess that's job 1 regardless of what we're building.
  23. Your builds are incredible, I love the classic style and no shortage here. Thats a beautiful car
  24. I guess I was early on the trigger, but the additions are great stuff. Good job!
