  1. Sorry to hear. If my bodywork skills improve maybe I'll try it out one day.
  2. monogram Testarossa, AMT 97 Trans Am. That Trans Am i built a decade ago, fit like poo. Hated it so much, decided to try it again now that I'm a bit older. Same issues, and even worse is the AMT has no side-mirrors.
  3. It always sounds good in my head, but these 1/43's are real tempting inspiration.
  4. I wonder if it'd be worth time to smash up a couple coug's and an IMSA Stang.....
  5. That AAM looks nice, and I'd kill to see your prototype Dave. If you happen to stumble across it that is lol
  6. Lookin' great so far. Love that color and finish of it.
  7. Makes sense, thanks. It also avoided me making a blunder later on Thanks !
  8. Lolz @ Jon, but a good point. I would be cool with a 'competition' section. Then i could have a one-stop for all the cool racing stuff we all have to offer without hunt and peck.
  9. True that lol. I did like the opening trunk, but the rest was fiddly-rubbish and not pleasant at all. When I tried mine it was the days before I thought to pre-clear my decals so I was out of luck.
  10. I know Revell did one, but It was a diff. livery. Not sure if it was the exact same GT1 so I'll have to do some digging
  11. Yeah I tried a 90s era AMT Nascar and I gave up. Plus my decals were poo. Great job finishing it off
  12. That's so awesome. Great job, love it.
  13. I can't say I'm interested art either. Since my favorite cars were released in an era of photos of the actual car, or studio built-ups I got a lot of boring box art lol.
  14. Derick you may be able to source decals of other versions of the racer via the internet; or of course do the Strassenversion as well... Robert this thing is lookin' awesome I like the detail here.
  15. No need to apologize that's a great start. Nice and clean, careful stuff. Keep it up!
  16. Lookin' good! Also, unfortunately I don't have an SE hood in the spares bro. I coulda SWORE I had one
  17. I've suffered broken pillars on these Monte's as well. Twice actually I think, I don't know what the deal is.
  18. Thanks guys, I have the 93 Camaro on the bench also as a side project. I agree on the frosting on the outside, it made things a little hairy at times. Its a fun one though!
  19. Thanks I have another on the shelf to do as a regular 94 as well
  20. A very little-known fact is next to my love for Mustangs, I have a major soft-spot for Trans Ams (and other Firebirds) This one is the Monogram kit built right out of the box. It's tooling roots are in that of the 93 Snap kit, and the fit and design is good. Some mounting tabs had to be snipped off, and the mounting holes opened up more a lil but overall it was fun, and offered some challenge.
  21. Good job breathing some life into it for sure. Very nice work on that interior
  22. Got another 25th TA on the one. I'll do this one factory but in a normal colorway, and save the decals.
  23. Duplicolor's Vinyl & Fabric Coating in charcoal gray.
  24. I need a louvered hood, if i can find a flat GP hood in the basement you wanna trade? Looks great by the way. i like these GP kits, underrated.
  25. That's all so awesome. Great work, everything is very sweet! And good luck at work
