  1. I like it too, they aren't the biggest or richest team but Kurt's really shown they can be a consistent threat. Very nice rendition here!
  2. This one was a very annoying Revell Testarossa convertible. The fit of body to chassis was very finicky and didn't make sense to me. I got it the way it simply could work and left it at that. I bought the kit open and partially started/taken apart. Hopefully the hardtop will go better. Made it up like the hero car from the Sega game OutRun. Awaiting some decal paper so I can make the license plate. Apple Red with Future.
  3. That's a beautiful car, lucky you got to be hands on with it. And it's true about a lot of things now, many have become reliant on different assists, and tools. Hell even handwriting on folks under 25 is atrocious in most cases lol
  4. This is super clean, nice undergood effects, nice stance. classy colour still looks ready to chew somebody up though! lol I like it.
  5. Under the hood on the kit is nice yes, but leaves room for details by the builder. A number of folks here have police and civilian builds of the LX so far. It builds up real nice
  6. The roofline is too low, one gentleman modified his and enlightened us with a WIP of his work, and a reworked body in resin may be available soon. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=76262
  7. what guts would be used with this body/
  8. I have a spare GP kit with no hood that I could use as a source so that sounds good, thanks a bunch Tony
  9. Lookin' real good on those decals nice job so far
  10. I would be open to a stock, engine, and custom build if I could get a comfortable price on three at once certainly lol. That'd be a pretty wild Buick huh?
  11. Nevermind, I read some comments on YouTube and he answered that
  12. Great info and history here on these promos. found some on the 'Bay but not real excited about the price at the moment. I have a spare GP Turbo chassis, so that might be an option as well didn't think of that one.
  13. Thanks for the info, may have to raid one for some parts
  14. Hey oscar, that Sidewinder truck; does it have an engine or they build it curbside?
  15. Thanks guys, from just some crude internet pics i wonder if the AMT Beretta guts would fit; but the box on the Regal says 1/24 scale hmmm
  16. I don't know if anyone is familiar with these, but I haven't seen them in kit form and I'm intrigued. Does anyone know whom manufactured these? Also, is there a chassis in kit form that can sit under to add an engine? Thanks. Also, there was a Buick Reatta similar to this.
  17. I'm not sure if you edited the pics but I can click on them and they pop up; but as far as the build it looks great. And I can tell the decals look like they would be a bear! Looking good
  18. That looks ready to rock and kick arse! I like the turned wheels too. Gives it some character, I like it even without an engine. Nice
  19. I envy you and your EXP lol congrats!! I just got a Revell '92 Cougar. I hate buying a whole kit just for a body but my current work was in the 'soup' and it doesn't work well on Perfect Match
  20. Great racer, and you did it proud. Super clean very nicely done!
  21. Welcome aboard, and don't worry about skills and whatnot. Just read through and start grabbing some tips that don't sound too wild and have fun. Thanks for signin up
  22. Yeah I agree this looks great, very clean work and the color is great. Love the interior work too what I saw, good stuff.
  23. I WANTED to use mine, but after scouring the kit wall I almost left empty handed until I spotted the Audi kit I picked up, so I understand some of the selection woes.
  24. Looks really cool, and those shocks are awesome, great stuff
  25. Photobucket seems to be having some issues, but I did get to see the thumbnail of the interior. The two-tone looks good! keep it up
