Been questioning whether or not to get the kit as I hated the 68 kit. I must say this was worth the money and it came out looking not to bad.

Hi all! I am new to the forum and would like to share pictures of my Dodge Charger model which I'm currently building: I picked this up from a yard sale last year for maybe $5. The model quality is quite bad, so I figured I'd do something custom and not build it as the General Lee. The chrome on this model was terrible, I stripped everything for re-chroming with Alclad. The engine was primed and sprayed using Zero Paints Orange. The valve covers which came chrome were stripped and painted matte black. The wheels and roll cage were painted in Zero Paints Gold. The wheels actually had great detail after stripping off the old thick chrome. Detailing the wheels. After spraying the stripped parts with Alclad you can really see a difference in quality. Stripping the chrome basically saved this model from looking like a cheap kids toy. Detailed the engine with some spark plug wires which was a first for me. Also created my own pulleys and fan belt using black tape. For the interior I wanted to do something stock so I went with a blue interior. I sprayed Zero Paints light blue metallic over black so that it will be a couple shades darker then the exterior which will be done over white primer. I added a touch of red to the tachometer for something different.

Moebius 1969 Ford SWB converted to 4x4 using the AMT '78 Ford kit for all 4wd parts as well as lights, tires, and roll bar. I still have to make or buy front locking hubs.

Just found this gem whilst perusing eBay ; 1969 Mod Top decal : http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dodge-Plymouth-Blue-Mod-Top-Vinyl-Top-decal/251887116041?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D444000%26algo%3DSOI.DEFAULT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D29005%26meid%3Da2024ee2180c42be8871576ea342b252%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D251888101545&rt=nc I recognise that this seller --at least in-name -- is new ; any-one have experience with their product(s) ?

Hi! This was the kit i started as i register on this forum a year ago. Have had some issues on the way, been putting it away and pulling it back million times. I tried to figure out a theme for it,did not want huge chromed wheels, and make it look bagged,i do like the style sometimes tho. So it is supposed to represent somthing you can drive everyday, haul down the dragstrip or throw around the track. Drivetrain is LS7 with two massive turbos, this linked to an 6speed manual, big brembo brakes, some meaty tires, the wheels are 17". The body is stock besides shaved markers, door locks, the rear wing, the front spoiler, and it`s lowered and given some agressive camber. Inside is stock beside Viper Coupe seats. I have not finished the exhaust, still waiting on some styrene rods. Color is Tamiya white pearl, the primer is actually red, this is why it looks grey. Then there are decals (i was unlucky some places) from Firebird Design if i remember right. Not everyones cup of tea,but here is some pics.

Old build, fresh pics. I built this one twenty years ago, but it has held up pretty well. See all the details at the link... http://www.svensworldofwheels.com/69_pontiac_trans_am_page.html

I have yet another question regarding the 1969 COPO ZL-1 Camaro from Revell . I recognise that this kit has de facto SS/RS grille / headlamp doors , as well as RS tail lamps ; however , it is "missing" the RS's back-up lamps . I also have noticed that there's a set of clear , square 'lamps' on the "glass" tree ; are those the RS's back-up lamps ? If so , how would one go about adding them to this COPO ZL-1 Camaro kit ?
