Dragfreak Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 (edited) There's not a whole lot to say about this one. It's simply the Revell Rat Roaster kit, I lowered the front end, changed the wheels, threw a tunnel ram and dual carbs at it, and slung some paint on it and called it a day. For me it was more of a quick box stock style build that didn't require much modification. The paint is Testors lacquer, wheels are generic revell steelies, tunnel ram is amt, and velocity stacks are scratch built. The BMF turned out mediocre, I should have scribed all the trim before hand. Let's just say the pictures are helping it out a bit. Edited November 4, 2015 by Dragfreak
cobraman Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 I like it ! I kinda like that laid back grill.
Ramfins59 Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 That's a great looking Rod Jason...... but, did you forget taillights?
Dragfreak Posted November 4, 2015 Author Posted November 4, 2015 Thank you for the feedback! That's a great looking Rod Jason...... but, did you forget taillights? No, I'm waiting to add taillights until I can find something I like a little better than the kit pieces, good eye though!
Harry P. Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 That's cool, I like the look. It's kind of different from what you always see. But you should really paint those header flanges black, to match the pipes.
spencer1984 Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Very cool, I like that new radiator placement!
Phildaupho Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Very different look which rather than being out of the box it shows styling "outside the box"!!
JTalmage Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 I really enjoy the wheel and tire combo on this one!
