Daddyfink Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Super cool! It has that vintage look and it looks just right
Chitown Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Man that is cool! One of my favorite cars of the era.
Metaldrumm Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Really solid build, nice shelf model or show car ,you should be happy with this build ,nice execution.
Tedly Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Very nice job Jim! Almost looks like a real car with the outside pictures!
Snake45 Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Very, VERY sharp model. I saw this car in the summer of 1968. Come to think of it, it might have been his '68 car. Would that have been built by that time? Either way, I recognized the name immediately! Well done!
6bblbird Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 I like this one a lot! One you don't see every day (or ever ). Cool! WF
MoparMark Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 Absolutely beautiful work! If the photo was in black and white I'd accuse you of just posting a pic of the real car. Nice job again.
dragmodels44 Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 WOW, very sweet! Was that a resin? And from who?
W-409 Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Very cool looking Corvette! We don't see many of these built, but this is a great looking 'Vette body style. You did a great job on that. I thought it was a real car at first, nice job!

JPolli Posted January 8, 2018 Author Posted January 8, 2018 Thank you all for the kind words. This was not a resin body. It is a lengthened AMT 67 Corvette kit body over a Polar Lights chassis.
dragmodels44 Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 That is cool! Did you make the decals then?
JPolli Posted January 8, 2018 Author Posted January 8, 2018 The decals are from Joe Curtis at Fremont Racing Specialties (frsmodels@msn.com)
