Do you have any weathering powders?  That would be the best way.  If not, MicroMark sells them as well as through Walthers.

Charlie,  no I do not have any weathering powders.  I might have to invest in some of those.

Thanks, Andy.  Did the wood with craft paint.  Wasn't too hard.  These kits show up at model shows every so often.  I suppose one can only hope the Revell USA reissues them again.  I'd like to get the flatbed/stake truck & back date it to 1916.

Michael's, Hobby Lobby and Walmart should all have pastels. That's what I use for weathering. Just shave some off with the edge of an Xacto blade, or some coarse sandpaper. Works great, and much cheaper than hobby specific products!
