Phildaupho
This is a replica of Mike O'Neil's car which was the first Deuce Coupe to appear in The Rodders Journal in bare steel in the first issue and completed in #8. It was also the first Rodders Journal poster car. Edited June 4, 2019 by Phildaupho

Very nice work on the hood louvers., Thanks Curtis - I have always liked seeing engines through the louvers on full scale hot rods so wanted to try and replicate that. I am kind of disappointed with how dusty these photos turned out so plan to take some more.
Phildaupho
I was not happy with the original photos so took some more but found the editing function did not work as expected
Phildaupho
Here a couple more views that I really like. Forgot to mention the reason why I used a reddish background on previously posted photos is because the full scale car was photographed with a similar background for The Rodder's Journal. Thanks Chris - The hinges are one of the many great Deuce parts from Replicas & Miniatures. I used aluminum tube for spreader bars 17 hours ago, ChrisR said: Looks great!! Rider
Black is such a difficult colour to photograph. These pics look better, nice interior.

Thanks Curtis - Yes I agree about the difficulty of photographing black. I have also had problems with red. Think I need a better camera that has a broader amperage range.
