1953 Ford “60s” Custom Pickup

Recommended Posts

This is a old Original AMT  Ford pick up I bought at a Model show several years ago it had been previously built Thought I’d rebuild and paint it and just play around with it and see what I would come up with. The paint  it’s some oddball color my brother gave me many years ago the steering wheel is from the parts box as well as the seat the tires I tried out make white walls with a white paint pen my first time ever doing this anyway enjoy the pics

Very nice rebuild. You got the '60's look, side pipes, chrome reverse rims with wide whites, Merc tail lights, custom grill and more carburetors than you could possible need. Thanks for the memories ( 2 - '56's and friends with many other year models also)

Thanks guys.

Tom. I never seen that post but I must say I would have to agree with you. There’s so many ways to build this kit I plan on building another one in the same “60s” Custom now that AMT included those cool 60s hub caps. Thanks for stopping by and the complement
