BRBO 2020 Revell Peterbilt 359 Snap tite

Recommended Posts

More work last night. Mock-up of air cleaner and bracket. Also tires and wheels. Filled out the tires with tissue paper as well. Also compared them to AMT wheels and tires. Pretty good so far I think.

Looking to maybe get some more paint on her this week. As long as the weather cooperates. Still trying to find that elusive sun visor.

Sanded some seams off the engine block and associated parts. Also put a pin into the pipe leading into the turbo on the Cat. This will allow it to firmly stay into place.

Power plant change. Building her with a Cummins NTA370. Love Cat motors but wanted to be different on this build.

Good day all hope everyone’s well. Well lo and behold the weather today in the greater Southern Nrw Jersey region it’s 63 degrees. Thus allowing me to break out the BRBO Project. The cab and hood are painted in Testors Model Master Dark Sea Blue enamel. The frame is Rustoleum Regal Red.

 Jerry,

I like your color choice. And I also ,like what you've done already on this one.

Thanks Gator. I like the simplicity of these kits regardless of the wheel/tire issues and no front visor.

The build continues. Frame and engine more or less completed. The last bits will be done after cab is finalized and set. So far so good I think.
