I noticed the paint was squared off versus the rounded scallops on the cars. Knowing how good you are with paint, I suspected a decal. Looking good, as usual.

Test fit of Gerald’s awesome new Boss 429 dry sump pan.,Fits this cars 429 SCJ too. In an AMT TBird chassis! Good news for me!!!

I thought the same! But I can't figure out how it could be done either. Maybe if they were built in multi part assembly! Just thinking out loud! Ideas!!

Very nice project Tim!  72 Is my favorite Torino body year and this shell looks very accurate.  Superb paint and decal job on this race car from the best era of the NASCAR war!!!

72 Torino is the best looking Ford ever made.72 -3 Montego GT is the best looking Mercury.

One kit had those headers.......My old brain says the 71 AMT Torino kit maybe????
