Thanks Gator. The wheels fit with no problems the only thing that I did to connect the wheels was to turn the brake drums around and then they fit the wheels and holds the wheel attachment in place.

Great looking build, Dan. I have always wanted to build this kit but heard many horror stories about fit issues. Great job on the paint job!

I have now finished the interior and have the glass in place. Working on the alignment of the cab, fenders and engine covers. I think I’ve got it pretty close now.

Thanks Jeff that’s the look I’m going for.
Part 3 of my Heavy Haul project is now complete. The Mack DM 800 is now ready to go. Next will be the gooseneck and more progress on the vessel.

Your comments are always appreciated.

That's what I call heavy equipments... The resin parts seems to be of very good quality and your added details are very convincing so far.   It is obvious that you know your profession Dan, it is very well done!

Thanks Francis the resin parts from KFS are very good quality but there is a lot of trimming on each piece.

Thanks Gator  I went with the chrome to go with the paint and to give the impression of a fancy high quality work truck.

The build is coming on nicely, Um, just a quick question.. The fuel or oil cell on the side of the gooseneck, the cap is on the bottom..?? Was this intentional..??

Cheers and Stay Safe From Down Under.

Thanks Paul for commenting on hydraulic oil tank.  I was looking at my photos and saw the same thing I have corrected the problem. I’m not sure what I was looking at when I glued it on. Some how between test fitting and gluing I turned it around.

Maybe the gooseneck was upside down to have a level surface with the tank.

Thanks for your kind words JT.
I’ve finished up the gooseneck just need to run the lines to the transporter. Also have added the lifting lugs on the vessel and building up the vessel supports. Next will be to add insulation on the vessel and start building the remaining 2 transporters.
