Dutzie Posted July 5, 2020 Author Posted July 5, 2020 (edited) Finally got to the bench for a few hours last night. Still working on the weathering and blending it all together. I will also be adding a flatbed trailer to the build. Edited July 6, 2020 by Dutzie Add pics
bigred63 Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 Wow, what a great looking model! I'm almost tempted to break out my kit! It would be awesome if, someone would make the Hood and all the other part needed, out of Resin! The hood could be used, for other kits.
Mopar - D Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 Nice build looking forward to seeing it all finished.

I’m looking at doing it, but I reckon Round 2 will magically find the moulds. Ben

Ben I would not be surprised, look what seems to be happening with the never reissued Challenge Mixer, it's supposed to come out later this year after what I have read, true or not I don't know as I haven't read a public confirmation on it from Round2.
gatorincebu Posted July 7, 2020 Posted July 7, 2020 Like that truck mainly for the pit type fenders . I like your weathering . Be Well Gator

I bet if you did mold some of these parts, they would definitely sell.

Need to get the lights, horn, and exhaust mounted along with filling some extra holes and will then start the overspray and extra mud and dirt.

I would like to make a narrow hood version to mould. I’m trying to track down a real truck or spec sheet to measure up. I love what you’ve done with this Ben
Dutzie Posted July 18, 2020 Author Posted July 18, 2020 Made a little more progress on the build. Once the trailer is complete, I will then add the spray from the road and extra weathering.
Biggu Posted July 18, 2020 Posted July 18, 2020 Love this.... I sure wish they would re-issue it or a conversion kit....
bigred63 Posted July 18, 2020 Posted July 18, 2020 Looking Good! Reminds me of the one I built in the early 80's! I remember some of the models that Mark Savage used with this kit! A real master, Mark Savage.

From what I remember, it didn’t turn out this nice, lol.
