Nxr Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 Here is another 1/16 to join the forum I will take more pics just finished this along with 5 other builds I will post later, paint was krylon coral and testors white paint dripped some cause of cold when I painted but I just went with it and added a crate of cokes from dollhouse stuff
espo Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 Great looking finishes and the color was very popular for the '55's. We had a neighbor who bought a new '55 Bel Air 4 door with this color and a Gray roof and trunk lid area. I like your idea of the cokes in the back.
Kromolly Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 Very nice interior and exterior. The color does look true to the period. Very well done on that one.
Nxr Posted March 13, 2021 Author Posted March 13, 2021 Thank i appreciate it!! Even though she got some paint runs and imperfections but at least its my nomad haha. I want to add an exhaust to it from cutting metal drinking straws as i always do to save money.
steveracer Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Looks great, excellent color and nice clean build! Thanks for sharing, I love the 1/16 scale models and seems the proportions of the molded kit are spot on.
Nxr Posted March 14, 2021 Author Posted March 14, 2021 Thank you, there are some sweet 1/16 kits by this brand i never really noticed called minicraft, https://www.ebay.com/itm/SEALED-Minicraft-Model-Kits-1935-Morgan-Three-Wheeler-1-16-Scale-11241-RARE/353395555464?hash=item5248043c88:g:yHcAAOSwJWFgMvNi I just got their 1/16 55 gullwing and after inspecting it i find it to be a very high end kit for only 42 dollars with shipping. Also as posting this i found their Rolls royce for 30 dollars free shipping, and snapped it haha. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Minicraft-Rolls-Royce-Silver-Cloud-Model-Kit-1-24-Mint-Factory-Sealed/353337622876?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 Looks like my building for the summer is set.
