Force Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 Yes, it's the Unilite "small window" cab so it's definately a DD 8V-71. It's the 1100 series cab kit that has a Cummins NTC 350.
leafsprings Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 (edited) Always wondered how the decision was made to choose an engine for truck kits. IMO, a Cummins was a much more popular engine in early Petes. The real 1:1 Pete that the original AMT non sleeper box art cover depicted had a 1676 CAT. I can see the logic with Detroits in Astros and Titans. Edited April 15, 2022 by leafsprings 1
Warren D Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 That was the first truck kit I built back in the mid 70's.
