Wow, this is quite a project. Looks great so far.

Thanks Tony.  Yes, it is a project.  I need to stay focused so I can keep up with Chris.

That being said, I did get quite a bit done on the tub.

All the carbon fiber is done with decals? Don't think I could handle that. Thumbs up!

Thanks Pierre.  It's not as hard as it sounds.   Just lay one down, wait for it to dry, then do the next.

And I'm done through step 6....

Absolutely love Chris and your 333SP's. I was lucky to be able them race at Mosport in the 90's. I would love to get one of these 1/12 scale cars but the wife would have me living on the street if I did LOL guess I'll have to make do with my 1/43 BBR kit.

Thanks Edgar.  I'm lucky that my wife puts up with my expenses.

Absolutely fabulous. This is an inspiration for me to finally build my Perry's Resin 333 which is a nice kit but nothing like this,

Thanks Phil.  And by all means, build that kit.

looking good buddy, with all this rain, it’s probably going to take me a while to catch up

I have a feeling that you're just drafting me......LOL

Stunning detail on the cockpit Paul!

It would be hard to tell it apart from the real thing.

Thanks David

Finished more on the trans and wing pylon, so I jigged it up to the engine for some glamour shots.

I decided to do the front floor in carbon fibre rather than paint it red.    Then I mounted it to the tub.

Well Paul, in following your build, I've managed to use up all my superlatives in describing it is. And it just keeps getting better!

Thanks for taking the time to share it, I do enjoy all the eye-candy.

I'm enjoying your build fellas.  This was/is one of Ferrari's all time great sports racers IMO.  Now that today's cars look like spaceships or modern fighter planes it reminds of a simpler period in car design..........but man was this one dominant.  No doubt you're enjoying building it as well.  cheers, tim

Thanks Tim.  It's you guys chiming in like this that helps to keep me motivated.

I did some work on the floor so it's ready to go.

Last night, Chris told me he had fitted up his bodywork And found gaps in the front cowl and rear decklid.  So I joined the tub to the floor and then the side bodywork. I checked the gaps at the top, which looked good.  But the nose has quite a large gap to the front floor. I'm not sure how I'll fix that since everything is already a tight fit and the nose can't be lowered. I think the rear looks good though.

Then this morning I added the engine and trans to make sure the wing pylon cleared.  It's good thing I checked, because the brake ducts were hitting the cowl.  I've still got a bit more filing to do before I'm satisfied.

I had a busy couple of days.   I installed the pipes to the radiators, then added the deflectors and the front suspension.

Engine was added and the pipes connected to it.  Then I added the floor.

Dammit man slow down ?

Hey Paul, remember not so long ago that Chris was taunting you, writing that he'd easily beat you to the finish line because you tend to be distracted by other projects?

Well you are totally focused, moving fast and the stuff looks simply fabulous!

What can we say Chris, hope is not a strategy...?

Nope, I wasn’t happy with how my front nose plate came out. I’m waiting on replacement decals. All this rain we have been getting in California is slowing down paint progress. So yeah it’s my strategy ?

Arrgghhh......I thought I was doing good with a nice color coat before decals. Then I saw the bug in the rear deck.  It'll need a light sanding then a respray.
