Revell Land Rover Station Wagon

Recommended Posts

Almost 50 years ago, I was part of the team who located the route and did the engineering survey of the Algerian portion of the Trans Mediterranean pipeline. And, of course we ran around the desrt in Land Rovers. We had five, two wagons and three panels. So I am going to attempt replicating one of the wagons. I'll cheat a bit and add a  resin winch. Wish me luck.

Great looking garage!

Yes this kit is a pleasure to build, here's my finished engine:

Cheers and keep posting pictures of your progress!

(I made mine into a Series 2 body, but kept the modern engine because it IS such a pleasure of a kit)

Wow a T-2 with one of the original distomats, I still have a T-2 on my desk in the office. I used one for the boundary survey on the Everglades back in 1981.

I remember the distomats but had forgotten the instrument was a T-2. Theodolite, right?
