Rattlecan Dan Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 Back in the Day, I was maybe 15, thought this was a pretty COOL car. Small, bored Vette engine, 3/4 cam, solids, straight pipes, cheater slicks (street legal). Cops finally got around to makin' him put the front bumper back on. 6
THEFATTDAWG Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 very cool they made me put my bumper back on too
happy grumpy Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 Looks very cool without the trim. Great job on the two tone paint.
XYHARRY Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 Cool 55 Donato. I like how you included the trim clip holes. I've wanted to do that type of build myself but haven't gotten around to it. Well done. Cheers, David. ??
70 Sting Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 Cool car, great engine and I like the story that goes with it. ?
Matt T. Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 You were right… it was COOL then and it’s cool now! Nice build. Lots of character.
Rattlecan Dan Posted April 25, 2023 Author Posted April 25, 2023 Tanks Yous guys! In my best Bowser voice.
presnell Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 Very nice Dan, brings back alot of good memories!!!!
espo Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 Like the way you finished the body and paint. Remember more than a few cars that this was considered finished. Nice detail adding all of the correct holes in the body for the chrome trim.
Rattlecan Dan Posted April 26, 2023 Author Posted April 26, 2023 Thanks for compliments. Honestly I think I made the holes a bit too big.
TransAmMike Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 Very cool idea on the build, the trim holes are awesome!!?
Rattlecan Dan Posted April 29, 2023 Author Posted April 29, 2023 Thanks guys. It's probably sitting in some junk yard rotting away. (sob).
Pierre Rivard Posted May 1, 2023 Posted May 1, 2023 Yeah, that one is way cool. Looks exactly like a car the owner would prefer to spend time driving rather than finishing (trim, numbers etc.)
