Guest
Richard, pm me your email, and I'll send pics. Mine is missing the bubble top, I gave it away, but otherwise complete, and to the best of my knowledge, no Elvira parts are included. Greg Pugh
I'm also in the middle of this kit, although mine is the Seafoam Green one from the 80's. I agree with someone else, the panel scribing was a bit sucky. I had to dig out the trunk and the fender skirts mainly. Getting the door gaps was a bit much too. The rest of it looks pretty darn good. I'm also customizing mine so I had a little extra body work to contend with. Shaving the door handles was more tricky that others I've done with it being part of the chrome/body panel. Should look cool when done though. samdiego
Brian Bordon's pieces are still some of my favorite cartifacts from the 80s. It's good to see him still being relevant to the car world. Here's to Brian, he went way too soon

horsepower
There was also a "La Bamba" version released if I remember correctly, & the early 2000's issue that has the custom pieces in it also.

It's one of the worst pieces of junk I've ever built,,,,,NOT the kit, I mean MY BUILD, LOL. The acetate windsheilds have since become deformed. This crappy build was actually the first model I ever had in a magazine, but I really don't know why it was chosen. My god , this is wonderful ??? Snake45
I got one of these a couple months ago in a Big Box O Glue Bombs. Built with the double bubble top, which doesn't interest me at all. Not sure what I'll do with it--anybody need one?
