OUCH!! sorry but i am in pain after my jaw just hit the deck. there is awesome work going on here and it will inspire me to start using brass again. are the wheels micro nitro doing custom? i have used their wheels on my 1/25th scale cars, and in 1/16th they look superb.

Thx Rochard and David Steve the rims are from Micro Nitro he did a fantastic job on them and even turned a rear lip for me because the rims were a bit too narrow for my tires hes a good guy with great service.

Here's a few more progress photos for ya, installed the electronics well the first part anyway. enjoy!!

It's looking like you might finish it in time...

Gotta question too. I know a little about electronic active shocks, does this build have those type of shocks? Specifically, what does the silver Koni box do?

It adjust ride stiffness for front and rear Dampening of the shocks this helps eliminate wheel hop along with violent chassis separation and wheel stands, the point of the system is to keep the wheels down and the car straight, it can also be adjusted on the fly per track conditions, I hope that answered your question for ya Mark.

The electronics are looking sweet Rom, I have a question, I noticed that there are no floor boards, are you going to be running a belly-pan set-up or are you just gonna leave it open for better veiwing?, & I can't wait to see this car done & painted!, it's beautiful!

Very impressive, I may have to spend some money with these RBMotion connectors. I have to ask, where did you get the 1/16 scale decals? Do you have an Alps Printer?

ROM in looking at your Pic, where you have your electronics I don't see your two 10 lb fire suppression bottles up against the passengers side. Are you planning on putting these some where else?

Romell the straps you made for the tanks look top notch. I sell aluminum tanks close to yours but have never been able to come up with a good mounting strap. If you do not mind me asking how were those straps made. Thanks for your time posting all the picture of this build it is a lot of fun to watch.

Wow, I just got through this and amazed isn't descriptive enough. Incredible scratch building and realism. I can't imagine how a person even figures out that they can do something like this. While some of this could be observed, practiced, and in some ways duplicated, you have a talent that just can't be learned. Some have it, some don't. I don't, thus I absolutely appreciate those of you that do.

Thank you for sharing this.

Hey Jim the straps were made from .062"/1.6mm rosen core solder flattened out by rolling my exacto blade on it like a rolling pin then I gave it a slight polish with a fine sanding board. Thx for the compliments buddy and for the fine craftsmanship you put into my rims.
