Which parts were warped on your one? the floor plan was flat and starait but the chassie part, the front part that holds the radiator was warped but easy fix. I have been building this same model and tghe first thing I do is check the main parts for that and since I have so many of them I can exchange parts. You are right they are tricky, if you don.t pay attention they bite you in the end Yu have to make sure the frame is right before you start putting all the components.
