Sean W Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 (edited) Here is Arnie Beswick's '62 Catalina SS drag car. I really enjoyed building this kit, it is well made and comes together nicely. I did bmf and decals on body today, and should have this one under glass by the weekend. I am unemployed , so it leaves me a lot of time at the workbench. This will look great on the shelf, and be a good start to my '60s super stock collection. Think Thunderbolts, Hemi Darts, Cobra Jet Mustangs, it will be fun. Stay tuned Edited April 19, 2013 by Sean W
Pro Wrench Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Not to mention that there really isn't a whole lot to do in the sprawling metropolis of Clayton, Washington. LOL
Sean W Posted April 19, 2013 Author Posted April 19, 2013 Ah, someone who is familiar with the place. It is pretty slow paced, but it suits me. I have plenty of time to watch the moles devastate my yard
Pro Wrench Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Yeah, I'm familiar. I live in Spokompton now but used to live across the street from Jump Off Joe Lake so I drove past Clayton pretty much every day.
Modlbldr Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Hey, another local. Sean and I are buddies. I'm in Riverside/Chattaroy. Sean, the Poncho looks great with the decals on it. You've gotten a lot accomplished since last weekend. Looking good. Later-
gtx6970 Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 So far so good. I built this exact kit recently. And I agree 100% it makes for a really nice looking shelf piece
58 Impala Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Nice job. I'm currently finishing BMF and decals on mine. I started mine before Round released this version, I bought my decals a long time ago from Slixx. I also did a three color interior, that was pretty tedious.
