k100 Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 (edited) This is my shot at the California Hauler. I shorten the frame ,ran air and electrical lines . I try to make the front axle steerable by drilling through the ends but I screwed up and drilled through the side . I ended up cutting the ends off and used parts from a Revell 379 . My plan is to have Buds on the rear and 10 hole wheels on the front. I also closed in the battery box. Edited April 22, 2016 by k100
k100 Posted August 19, 2014 Author Posted August 19, 2014 I changed my mind this is what Im going for now .
Jim B Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 I like the mods. Those are some seriously beefy tires.
Superpeterbilt Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Great progress. Do you have a paint scheme in mind?
k100 Posted August 21, 2014 Author Posted August 21, 2014 Thanks Tim , this is the paint scheme Im thinking of
bandit1 Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Nice job... the only problem im having on mine is figuring out that SWITCH that mounts on the back of the frame.
Petetrucker07 Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 The seminole scheme looks great on peterbilts.
BigBad Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 That is going to be a tough lookin' mother... I like it! The front wheels, the 2 holes in the back, the paint scheme... The MCA exhaust stack(s)... It's gonna look better than the Bill Signs Pete!
Kostas Parchas Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Nice work so far, I like it a lot and I like also the paint scheme you have in mind. Maybe streching a litlle bit the frame and adding a headache rack. Kostas.
k100 Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 I got the frame and wheels painted today.

Tesla Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Looks fantastic and that paint scheme would be a great choice.
