maltsr Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Tamiya kit, Tamiya rattle can Gloss Black, kit decals printed by Cartograph. This is an old, formerly motorised kit that was re-issued about six years ago. The one-piece body is beautifully molded and the kit goes together well but is rather simplified. However, it looks stunning with the multicoloured paint scheme. I added some masking tape seatbelts for a bit of detail. The real cars produced a whopping 375hp from only 91 cubes, that's over 4hp per cubic inch!
slusher Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 (edited) Great looking model Paul... Edited November 4, 2014 by slusher
Maxicoop Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 that is awesome great color combo !!!!! does the hood open to show the engine ?? would like to see the engine if possible !!!
rusty85 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Nicely done mate, great looking build! I wonder if any one has tried bashing one of these with the Monogram Mustang for some engine detail? As I think they look near enough the same in the engine bay you could get there with not too much work. NOT meant as a critisim just thinking out loud.
Guest Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Nice work on a seldom seen subject! Great work on the decals also!
JordanFordF1 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 How can you not love that car! Excellent car and excellent work.
Ace-Garageguy Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Man, that IS nice! Beautifully photographed too. Comes off looking like a real car. Fine, fine work.

TimJ Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Nice work. I remember seeing these racing at Donington Park when they came over to the UK back in 1981.
majel Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Paul: great job on the car, this is one of my favorite models. A great Tamiya kit that goes together like a dream!! Once again, very nice work.
DynoMight Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Picked this up in the LHS, looked at the price and set it back down. $59...

The Mustang was a Zakspeed Capri with a Mustang body.
935k3 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Nice job on the model. all the different liveries of this car were great looking.
