Mercedes 300 SL Roadster (1957) - CBP 2014

Hi,

as wrote in the Thread "2014 Cannonball Run CBP" here my finished Entry.

My Mercedes 300 SL Roadster. Kit is from italerie (#658) started as a gluebomb with a lot layers of some different paint.

Modifikations are:

Engine and Trans from a Ferrari Superamerica, modified the frame and interieur to make the transaxle fit,

lowered suspension, changed the tires.

scratch built rollbars and brushed with alclad

body modified with inlaying exhaust a la Viper and closed the convertiblesection back seats.

Interieur nothing special, only belts made.

Paint is "Hellelfenbein" and clearcoat out of the can, brushed racingstripe. Decals are from a Heller Ford Focus and "Goofer"-Decals(?).

No wiring in the enginebay.
