    Just some strips of styrene and covered the rough body work with embossing powder .I was trying to make it look like a fiberglass hood .

    Bryan , I made some like that but used kabob skewers with the pointy ends to stick into a chunk of foam.

    Maybe you could heat up your parts tree and stretch it out a little thinner ?
