  1. Nice Kenneth ,But isn't that a Coronet ?
  2. I use a Q-tip too ,but I use the ones with the paper type stick and cut it at an angle to get it down around the trim and little details .It is hard to rub through BMF.
  3. You could use straight pins for the bars . Ron Parks (from Parts from Parks) built a car with a scratch built tractor grill and seat back in the 80's .I wish I had a picture of it !!!!
  4. Thanks Ira !

Nice job ! I like it in black.
  6. Very nice ! I've bought tons of those kits for the tires ,but never have built one .
  7. Kind of like this ?
  8. Great work Rob ! I have a 39 Chevy kit ,but I think I used those headlights on mine I was thinking of making a temp. gauge hood ornament for mine . I think that might look good. Your grill still looks cool ,I have to do that again someday
  9. I found that if you have to have a seam that might show ,rip it with your finger at the seam .When you over lap the two piece it almost disappears when you burnish it down. When you cut it ,it bends it and make a hard edge that will show more .
  10. I found a Deal Wheels 57 Chevy in a box of parts , most of it was missing and lots of glue damage . I used part of the chassis for my Car-toon Corvette gasser , leaving me just the body , interior panel and the figure. I remembered the Jim Croce song ( Rapid Roy that stock car boy ) ,And had an Idea .Just getting a start on it,glued a couple of old slicks together for the rear tires .Not sure what all I'm going to do to it ,but I will try to add all the little details from the song.
  11. Got a little more done.
