  1. Like the title states what is or was so special about the amt millenium kits I came across the gt fox mustang I see no difference between it and the regular amt kits unless the difference was on or in the decal sheet? I see no difference on the instruction sheet or the parts layout maybe it was a limited run re issue?? Any input is aWsome
  2. I Worked for advance for 2 years and now cannot stand them I feel I was the only one working the store that knew anything about cArs! Noone at any of the stores here knows how to look anything up Without a computer 9out of 10 times the part I want is "not available" in their computers don't have that problem at o'reillys. Oh soRry we were talkin about duplicolor paint!
  3. I agree completely none of the mainstream good mustangs are ever kitted. Muy favorite being 85-86 gt although I'?e discovered how to piece one together from various bmpc kits (expensive to do collecting up all the old mpc kits) they never really did a 82 "boss is back" stang although a 79 pace car can make a 82 gt perhaps yes the mach 1 and the new cyote 5.0 who's going to fill the holes? What about fox saleens? Those were wicked cool!
  4. Especially mustangs! Any ford guys ever thought of making a "mach. 1" from the revell 99' cobra? Looks as though the revell gran torino gt kit has a perfect looking shaker hood setup I need to compare book pictures of cobra hood vs mach 1 hood I think it could be done without too much modification hardes part would have to be wheels?
  5. Nice real lookin master cylAnder! WHat do you use for the coiled up line? I use coiled up guitar string on some of my models and it looks pretty good not as nice as yours tho
  6. When I am on mcm typically i am on e-bay and other. Model related sites as well (modelhaus) mostly e-bay though. 10. I have a 04' saturn Ion "redline" also referred by many as a Lsj cousin to the cobalt ss Its a easton supercharged powered 2.0 ecotec with a saab 5 speed tranny -Although I do t know the previous owner(s) of the car think it was only one and their driving habbits the car is now at 99,800 miles I have not replaced any major mechanical components of the clutch-drivetrain however I did have to replace the pedal assembly itself ( who in their right minds uses a plastic pedal assembly for a clutch)?? Long story short I'm sure its the original equipment and its headin for the 100k mark I've been no saint either, hard launches sometimes (love to hear the supercharger) and do ocaationally downshift (always wait till lowest possible rpm's)my exhaust sounds like popcorn when you downshift
  11. My friend bought a w-200 4x4 in washinton state, he brought the truck down south here it is a extended cab longbox! I have a wip on this truck I had 2-3 rough glue bombs I cut up one cab to make the half extended cab lots of putty and sanding now! I am in need of a tailgate for the fullsize long bed and tail lamps if anyone has those don't believe a extended cab was ever kitted

  22. I've lost models before! I have so many in progress projects, I go back for one and it has mysteriously vanished ( I believe a couple good models) have vanished to other mcm members (trading can be as addicting as e bay) so yes I've lost parts whether its my fault, the carpet monster, the cat, my toddler, or myself losing stuff all the time, whole models that dissapear are usually my fault but hopefully the models all went to new homes and not the dumpster
  23. NICE! I need to build one of my friends truck his is lifted. And an extended cab 4x4 w200 truck going to be interchanging 2 pickup cabs into 1 to make the extended cab longbed.
  24. It can go both ways I put decals on my finished paint, on some kits (molded in color kits)I place all my decals then shoot some clear over everything makes the plastic shine and protects the decals
  25. Hey. Everyone I figure I would toss this out to model land styrene junkies alike I recently got a couple tubes of "kens fuzzy fur" today I finally used them, I was very happy with the end results I do need much more practice, but for a first try it turned out well. You can use testors white (or elmers) glue or as it states sprinkle over wet paint (the method I used) its real neat stuff (little Messy) its a nice touch to finished models I am currently working on fox mustang and capri interior so -i've got maroon and. Charcoal gray like I said neat stuff add it to ur wants list for the hobby bench
