  1. Looking great Curt! I assume you already sent it back to the owner, so we won't see it at the NNL show in March. If you remember, I built one a few years back when the kit first came out. A nice kit despite some shortcomings, and it is still sitting proudly in one of the display cases at home!! Hossain
  2. Beautiful! I assume that you had to cut out the door and hing it. Very nicely done!
  3. I am in the same boat guys! I e-mailed ScaleMotorSports a while back and inquired about the detail set to no avail. The only thing that I found for the Shelby is a set of resin wheels on e-Bay which I bought and they fit with no fuss!!
  4. Hi Curt, Nice work! I am sure I'll be seeing it in person at the NNL. Hossain
  5. Very nice work Mark, specially the stripes on the tires.
  6. Hi Cato, Thanks for the kind words. About half the plumbing and wiring is from the kit itself. The rest was from references thanks to Mark Jones (Scale Master) and his Caterhams. His models have been featured in both Scale Auto and our very own Model Car Magazine. Great source of reference and inspiration!
  7. Thanks Mark! I appreciate your input. I would build more of these Caterhams, but they are so expensive and hard to find! Take care for now. Hossain
  8. Hello again everyone, Here is another model I built a while back. It is a Revell Mustang GT350R. I built it mostly OOB and added a few details to the engine bay and interior. A great kit! I Hope you like it!!
  9. Here is my Tamiya 1/12th scale Caterham Super 7 I built over a year ago. I am finally posting pictures on the forum! Hope you all like it.
  10. Hi Dave, The model looks great, as usual. I ordered mine today! How hard is it to lower the suspension? Also, I had heard rumors that SMS is coming out with a detail set for this kit. Any truth to that? Thanks

Hi Brendan, As usual, your work and preference is right up my alley. Your work is always clean, crisp, and accurate, and provides me with great inspiration. Hossain
  12. Hello again Brendan, Thanks for the input on the masking and fit. Yours came out great. You have certainly made a lot of progress on yours. Boy, those decals look really intimidating and you know me, because it takes a lot to intimidate me when it comes to decaling. I also have to paint the car multiple colors to start with!! Oh well. I hope to put the decals on without any problems. Otherwise, I may take your offer on your unused set! Thanks again and keep those progress reports coming. I really need the inspiration. Hossain
  13. Hi Brendan, I hope you are doing well. Glad to see you working on this car. I started working on mine last week, but I am putting the decals on! I know it is going to be a lot of work. I was wondering if you know of any after market companies that are doing the window masks for this one. I found a company that does the window masks for the Tamiya GT3. In fact M&S has it. Do you know if it'll fit the Fujimi glass? Seeing yours in the works gives me a lot of inspiration. Hossain
  14. Curt my man! The 34 came out really nice. Knowing Al, he found a flaw in the kit somewhere and had to put it back in the box. Glad to see the "Three Amigos" connection completing yet another model. Knowing how things go, it'll proabably end up in my display case!!!
  15. Great work my friend. Having built one of these monsters, I know the amount of time and effort involved in finishing it. You have done a wonderful job, and I can certainly appreciate all the extra details you have added on.
  16. Very nice my friend! I specially like the graphics and the speakers!
  17. Mark, Fantastic work so far. Perhaps, you can have it done in time for the next NNL West which will give you all the incentive to take a trip up north to our neck of the woods!! Keep it up and I'll be looking forward to following your progress. Hossain
  18. Good to hear back from you man. I understand and I probably won't make it either. Saving up all my energy for the NNL!! Dark Metallic Green sounds pretty nice!! Keep posting the in-progress pictures. Hossain
  19. Hi Curt, I've been out of the modeling loop for a while and hadn't had a chance to look at your projects on the forum. Wow, that looks great man! I can't wait to see the finished product at the NNL. Have you decided on the color? Hossain
  20. Gregg, Thanks for all the wonderful pictures you have posted. You really captured the essence of the show with your coverage. Take care and see you next year. Hossain
  21. Curt, This was also one of my favorites (aside from the Bronco!) at the NNL West. I should share this little story with everyone. I told Curt at the show how much I liked one of his models (a Ford Bronco with a little weathering) and asked him if I could add it to my collection. Well, to my surprise, I get a package in the mail yesterday from Curt and sure enough, it is the Ford Bronco!! I have to say that Curt made my day, heck my whole week!! Thanks a lot man!! I think I really like the 32 Ratter as well Next thing you know, I'll be getting another package from you!!! Anyway, I'll catch up with you and make things even for your troubles when I see you at the SVSM. Later!!
  22. Gentlemen, The builder's name is Jerry Amaral and he is a resident of Folsom CA Hossain
