  1. So far it seems that I am the only one that got The Flash on his kit! Collectors Item!! LOL!
  2. The Revell version shares it's guts with the Datsun and Luv kits. Not accurate at all.
  3. Wow, they cut out quite a bit.
  4. I thin them out a bit and shoot through the air brush with fantastic results
  5. Tamiya Enamel paints are so nice! I wish they where sold here in the U.S. as well! Luckily I still have a few from a Secret Source that scored some from Tamiya a few years back ?
  6. I think it is pretty neat for what it is, a car based on a T.V. show, and it has potential to be more. Hope AMT plays some more with their tooling and gives us another one hit wonder! I could use another wagon, how about you?
  7. Nope, it's all flash! No tape used whatsoever. All pics are just as it came out the box! This is not a perfect kit and for something that will be mostly collected and not really built, it is ok. LIke i said, it is very 80's MPC'ish
  8. It will be nice to not work with glue bombs or pay a small fortune for one. Lots of ideas out there.
  9. It was this lovely rendition
  10. Sorry about that! I guess the phone didn't rotate when I took the pics. But here you go
  11. It is weird that as I unpacked the pieces, the plastic gave me an "Early 80's MPC Feel" Does that make sense? The swirls, the flash and the feel of the plastic had memories rushing back of opening an MPC in the 80's
  12. Yeah, I am not all that thrilled with it being molded in black, but, it is better than Red! I am sure they molded in color to appeal more to who this kit is aimed at, fans of the show who rarely, or don't, build models.
  13. There where also a few Road Racer types that where part of the series, like the Datsun and Porsche kits
  14. Whoops! I knew I forgot something!
  15. Thanks! I guess I have been pretty lucky in finding some things here and there. I haven't been to a kit show in a while, and with all the show cancellations, my wallet is catching a break! ?
  16. The plain jane version is a kit vendors table warmer, but, the original MPC 4X4 version I think would be a better seller. As a gag, for some time now, we kept throwing this kit into our Model Club auction. Someone would buy it, then bring it back to be resold again. I ended up giving it a good home in the end.
  17. Originally it was a kit by IMC, 1973, and from what I read it was pulled from the shelves due to mother complaining about the sexuality it implied! Then it was re-issued by Testors as the Barris Supervan in 1977, based on the 1976 movie "Supervan" that is currently available on Amazon Video
