  5. thanks for the response fellas, i think it will stay flat! Brian- yes i was gonna decal the hood, i thought it would go great with the white stripes on the bumper but it will look ok the way it is i guess!
  6. Very nice, i like the weathering!
  7. Ok, i need some opinions. I dont have another hood to give a comparison, but do you guys think i should stick with the flat black hood or should i go with a semi or even full gloss. Im partial to the flat because the front bumper is flat, but i would like to know your opinions. Keep in mind that the hood will be a little dirty! Thanks in advancr fellas!
  8. its called wire wrap, its used in breadboarding for computers, thats the small wire, the larger stuff is 22awg solid core wire. Thanks for the compliments fellas, the logging trailer box came from the logging trailer decal sheet.

  10. Ok, just a few more pics for now, interior isnt done, but heres the main idea.
  11. Just a small update, im starting to add the interior details, i gor my vent windows installed and the hood is painted in this pic, but right after taking the pic, i snapped another side hinge......again! While trying to reglue the hinge i also managed to leave a thumb print on the hood, cant win for loosin on this stinkin hood! Headache rack was assembled and the alclad was applied.......then the alclad started to crack in several places. After seeing the hood react the way it did today, i think i figured out why the alclad cracked, my base hadnt fully cured, oh well, heres a teaser pic till i can take some more later!
  12. i guess thats where i screwed up, all mine says is aluminum....no polished
  13. Thanks for the info fellas! By the way, have any of you used the alclad aluminum? I tried it but i think a black base was too dark, it looked more like platinum than aluminum......
  14. Has anyone out there tried alclad over future, then seal the alcad with future? I'm sure it would work, but the real question is will it hold up? I would try it, but i have something to finish by a deadline and i dont have time to experiment.
