Michaels 50% Coupon Or so I thought

Amen to that Pat. Same with the Iwata Airbrush Cleaning station. Huge inflation on the cost of that thing not to mention the selection of kits is pathetic at my local Michaels. -

When the "solution" is the problem!
hooterville75 replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I myself find nothing wrong with a third party place like mentioned. I always renew my stuff early so I have time to spare and dont have to worry about having it by a certain date. Convenience to me. Probably for the fact Ive lived here most my life and its what Im accustomed too. Speaking of New Jersey I do LOVE the fact a civilian cant touch a gas pump in NJ its a state law they pump your gas for ya ha ha ha. -

I happen to be one of those Keystone staters. The places you are talking about are like a convenience store. You pay them to goto Harrisburg to get you your title, etc. Other wise you would either have to A do it online which you would then have to wait to get it through the mail or B goto Harrisburg to get it yourself, other then USPS which you still have to wait to get it in the mail. For anything other then a car title, you pay this little courier service a fee and get everything done right in there store. I dont know about you but I live a hour from Harrisburg, PA where the closest Pen Dot building is. To drive there in my gas guzzeling Durango it would cost me $40, so to me its worth the tiny little fee the courier service charges to get the stuff done there. I think its a convenience. In regards to the State stores etc, thats changing as you will now be able to purchase whisky and wine right in your super markets, walmarts etc. I see nothing wrong with either of the things mentioned. Great convenience for me. Emissions Im very lucky with as I live in one of the Counties where Emissions arnt mandatory. My parents live a half hour from me one county over and have to have emissions. Way around that, register the vehicles with the address of there one rental property in a county that doesnt require emissions haha. Emissions are crazy. Im a big fan of being able to cut the catalatic converter off and run straight pipe back -

Nice set of brushes although I really like the Back to Base-ix brushes. They are a really quality brush for the money. Im looking at buying a set of these brushes you mentioned as well for weathering.

Improved Lighting & Magnification Options?
hooterville75 replied to nitrojunkie's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
Might sound stupid but where do I put the diffuser or shield ? At the moment, I have the ceiling light that is pointing straight toward the booth about twenty five feet from it and then I have a regular round shop clamp light that I have clamped directly to the side of the booth pointing straight in the booth about a foot from the spray area. I can take a photo of the booth if it would help you to give the proper placement of the shield or diffuser. Id rather be able to avoid buying new lighting for both the spray booth and work area and concentrate on getting a magnifying lamp for the work area. Maybe the shield or diffuser will work and am hoping it will I just need to know where to place the shield or diffuser. Thanks for the info my friend. -
Im about in the same boat ha ha. What gets me is when I goto the Library or Album to click on individual pics, when I open them the box is always gray and doesnt load the photo. It brings up the thumbnails at the bottom of the page, if I click on them it opens perfectly lol. Im sure its all a thing of I have to take the time and have a little patience to figure how it all works since the change ha ha. My opinion on photo bucket and you tube at the present since the changes is about the same as my opinion on the new Windows 8 lol. As someone mentioned above I cant really use the words or phrases I need too to give my thoughts as they are unacceptable for a public forum lol.

Nice ride Clyde. My second car I had after I turned 16 was a 73 Dart Swinger. Burgundy in color. Would someday like to get one and restore it as well as the first car I ever drove which was a 1979 Dodge Aspen again Burgundy in color. You wouldn't have guessed I like the color Burgundy would ya ha ha ha. Again nice car dude.

Make sure its the exact car you want. Im wishing I wouldnt have gotten the Belvedere now simply because its not a 58. I wanted it then and now though and a 57 is what I found so I got it. Impatience busts me yet but it is what it is and Im stuck with it now lol. Its not that off from a 58 so Ive accepted to love the car but still wish it was all what I consider "legit" being a 58 ha ha.

Thanks all. Ramsfins they are actually dusty as all get go right now as I havent touched them since winter started. Cant wait to give the first baths of the summer ha ha. Its getting closer. What I dont get is I have covers for each setting on a fold out lawn chair setting to the side yet they are not on the cars ha ha. Thanks Dan. Thats not a Fury though its a Satalite which is basically the same but not quite ha ha. Thanks for all the kind comments. Much appreciated.

Here are some photos of my 1966 Plymouth Satalite. I wanted this car as its the first car my father ever owned. Its a pastel yellow with a black hardtop. Enjoy and thanks for viewing. Again should you want to view the video on my youtube channel of both vehicles please goto youtube.com and look for Hooterville75. Thanks again and thanks for viewing.

Ya have to excuse the dust as they haven't been touched since the winter started ha ha. Hope you all enjoy and can use the engine reference pics if needed persay engine detailing etc. ITs a 1957 Plymouth Belvedere and I understand Christine was a 1958 but the 57 is all I could find that was anywhere near affordable when I purchased this car before the disability occurred. I also made a video on my youtube channel so should you care to view the video you can goto youtube.com and find me as Hooterville75. Thanks for viewing.

Just wanted to ask what the proper sub title would be to post pics and a video of my real 1:1 rides I own ? Wanted to get them in the proper sub title as Ive seen with previous members the forum gets mad when posting in the wrong section. If you could leave me know Id greatly appreciate that as Id like to post my photos and video I shot today of my 1957 Plymouth Belvedere and 1966 Plymouth Satallite. Thanks in advance.

Improved Lighting & Magnification Options?
hooterville75 replied to nitrojunkie's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
My question to this all is what type of lighting would be sufficient for my spray booth ? The setup Im using now is way off key as my lighting is so bright that its putting I guess youd call it a glare on the painted parts making them appear as if they still need paint in certain areas. I hit that part with some paint come to find it was fine and now I have runs from too much paint etc. I turn the part and another glare showing it needs more paint etc. In the spray booth do I want lighting back away from the booth or right on top of the area Im spraying in like I have now ? -
