  1. Tom, This is a great project to get "sidetracked" with Looking forward to the updates!
  2. Nice looking KW and the paint job is great!
  3. Matt, This is looking good! If you want to use a good chrome paint, I suggest Krylon premium original chrome. I've been using it since JT mentioned it in one of his posts. It holds the shine really well. When I handle parts painted with it, I wear cotton gloves. Let it dry for about two weeks. I purchased mine at Michaels.
  4. All nice projects Terry. I like the tri-axle Freightliner!
  5. All great looking builds and the weathering and "wear and tear" on the Mack is outstanding!
  6. Nice work on the sub frame and it looks good in yellow. Did you use the Uschi chrome powder for the bumper? Great results!
  7. Sharp lookin 'shaker...well done!
  8. Great idea and you did a fine job on this build!
  9. Bill, you are correct!! To me she is one of the most beautiful actresses from the 40's
  10. Thank you Sam and Clayton! The tank straps and pipe clamps were made from silver metalized polyester film tape. I've been using this for quite some time and have always been pleased with the results. https://www.thetapedepot.com/products/metalized-polyester-film-tapes-71858.htm
  11. Thanks Michael! It’s one piece of styrene with two score lines. After making the score lines (red and green lines) on the back side, make one bend on each color line which will be to opposite corners. Bend “into” the back side. That way, the exposed side will result in smooth raised panel lines. Don’t try to make bends in one try if using styrene. A LITTLE at a time yields the best results.I hope this helps! Hosted on Fotki
  12. Thanks everyone! I appreciate the feedback
  13. I’ve got parts everywhere in various stages of completion. The engine is now complete and is mated with a Roadranger transmission. I painted the interior but I’m not happy with it. It’s in the purple pond now. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
