  1. cool love that paint !!!
  2. as always , so fresh and clean .. finish is just so nice , great color choice , love it
  3. linking it in a way i was thinkling how cool it would be with way bigger wheels or tyres (taller / more diameter) in the back , like the body is so massive it could handle that easely one small thing .. you know i love your work , big fan here and not ment offensive , the weathering you do always looks great , on this one i just could not help wondering the overall weathering and tone is so the same , with that i mean , body / chassis and axles etc.. so what i mean is in this case if the body and grille shell would have been what you have now but the axle was like a weathered chrome and the chassis like maybe black with some rust overall it would become more exiting and would have dif. color tones .. just an idea for the future .. and ment in a good way
  4. pretty interesting .. like if i would ever do a ferrari build (not going to) i would also go crazy .. nice idea's curious on the rest
  5. nice kit , i build that kit .. as always its good quality with revell)
  6. nice !! nice !! dig it
  7. thnx guys ! but atm i'm a bit stuck .. what do you guys think is it a mancave garage or could it become a customer garage .. not sure atm .. hard to decide the rest now i went for the 50's rock and roll look ....
  8. yeah could be .. now really thinking about the direction i want to go in.. sure i like it but i'm getting further from just a nice garage i wanted to make ... i could have easely made a diner lol i have to watch out i'm not going overboard on the 50's furniture and make like a too staged whole ... you know ? like i want to get the rest looking more like a place where rods and custom come to life , get maintaned etc ... so i have to think about what i need to do stylewise like either go 100% for the theme i have now or make the rest a tad less out there and more normal ... bit stuck on the whole overall feel and look
  9. thnx guys , came home and the paint on the table was dry , so i glued on the glass top and added a chrome center piece , not because of the glue , no you could not see the glue was under the glass , i just didnt like the center and thought it looked nice with a tad of real chrome dont mind the champion box that was a test for something else , i wont use this size in this dio
  10. thnx and no i wont hahaha just made the table .. took me like 15 minutes lol , searching the partsboxes ... used the base from old christmass light thingy , matches the seat base , only on this i grinded off the standing piece (thick piece) , then used old sprue with a rear piece of a kit wheel on top .. on that a real glass plate from a old watch now its paint time
  11. yes jukebox could be cool , table will be made next , some car magazines on it seats are done
  12. yes i could have easely made thisa into a diner lol . but that said a lot of garage pics have like this style in there .. just more expansive mancave garage theme perhaps ?? made 2 high stools from van seats and steel bases from christmas lights , add a table taler .. just using stuff i collected for a while and get creative with the stuff i have lying around
  13. just , added a white edge , painted the buttons chrome and found a nice chrome logo i thought spiced up the look of the bench a bit
  14. thnx the bencj got some primer and a coat of red .. now maybe try to color the buttons , chrome trim at the bottom ? hmm i will try some stuff
  15. bench for the chill earea , old kit bench with diamond pattern , lego block and some styrene headrest
  16. changed the floor to just a checker without the logo , easyer to put stuff in , i'm thinking 50's styled barstools , a bench , desk , coke machine .. already making a custom clock for the wall using a old watch for parts workbenches will be like steel red lockers with a wooden worktop etc ...
  17. whell the floor is in .. now working on low partician walls ... went for low ones because that way you can still see everything , i tried high walls but that takes away to much from the windows on the side ... making the wall wide so later i can put stuff on it , maybe some old oild cans etc ... now the walls will be the same as the outer walls so ribbed panels in silver , the top of the walls will be covered with the hardwood strips i have on the walls and stained the same way , so it becomes one whole and the same theme / look .. just a rough start >
  18. whouw !!!!! just whouw , looking great !!
  19. thnx guys whell having loads of fun again ... the only downside of dio building is they take up a lot of space .. but whell i just love to build them , this one is my third (hotrod garage > gasstation > now this one)
  20. whell i got the idea to do a piece of tile floor and try to blend it into the painted floor , so i opened photoshop and designed my own floor in diamond chekers with the shop logo ... now this is just regulair a4 paper , in the top corner you can already see how nice it blends into the floor of the garage , when i seal this with varnish and glue it on i think it will look killer .. nobody would suspect its just regulair paper now i can also make like a partician or a wall with big windows , and a door , so its like a reception / office .. all just a testfase
  21. haha whouw that really cool !!
